Environmental monitoring forms the primary information base for observing, assessing, and forecasting the state of the natural environment. The monitoring of atmospheric pollution, changes in land cover, degradation of vegetation, the condition of water bodies, transformation of coastal zones, and natural risks requires high operational efficiency and spatial accuracy.
