Анотація

У статті розглянуто можливості, перспективи та недоліки реставрації чорно-білих художніх фільмів кіносиндикату Tobis-Klangfilm за допомогою штучного інтелекту. Пропонується, що такий спосіб відновлення та покращення кінострічок стане доповненням до методу цифрової реставрації, яка, своєю чергою, стала наступним етапом розвитку технологій реставрації після методу фотохімічного покадрового відновлення. На основі фільму «Великий король» («Der große König», 1942) режисера Файта Гарлана автори намагалися показати результат такого процесу із зауваженням про те, що реставраційний процес викладеної роботи було здійснено ще у 2023 р., а з плином часу цифрові технології стають дедалі прогресивнішими.
