Анотація

Throughout history, war has affected individuals and societies in various ways, resulting in significant loss of life, economic disruption, and social instability. However, the consequences of wars are not limited to direct battles. In modern times, the environmental and ecological impacts of wars, as well as their local and global ramifications, have become increasingly severe and long-lasting. The exploitation of natural resources, environmental destruction, pollution, and biodiversity loss have become major factors complicating post-war recovery and human life. These issues should not be relegated to the periphery of discussions about the military and political consequences of warfare, as their effects on ecology and human health are also critical topics that deserve attention.
