Анотація

In contemporary linguistics and translation studies, increasing attention is paid to the study of euphemisms. Euphemisms play a key role in shaping polite, indirect, and socially acceptable language. However, there is still insufficient research on the pedagogical approaches to teaching the translation of English-language euphemisms into Ukrainian, especially within the framework of translator training in higher education institutions. The translation of euphemisms presents a particular challenge: it requires maintaining the communicative intent, emotional tone, and stylistic features of the source text, while adapting the message to the cultural and linguistic expectations of the target audience.
