Анотація
The emergence of the concept of sociocultural competence is associated with the work of the Council of Europe on cultural cooperation, where this term is considered as one of the components of communicative competence and is defined as "ability to adequately interact in everyday life, establish and maintain social contacts with the help of a foreign language ".
