In the globalized world, English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction plays a pivotal role in equipping learners with the necessary linguistic skills for academic, professional, and personal success. Among the four macro-skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—reading often serves a foundational role, providing input for language acquisition and access to a vast array of information and knowledge.
